How to choose a tablet

I want you to know that the “best tablet” does not exist, it is necessary that you choose your tablet based on your own requirements and for that you must take into account the characteristics that I mentioned before.

The screen

The standard dimensions of a tablet are 7 “, 8” and 10 “. Choosing one of these measures is based on your needs. Whether you need an extremely light device to use when traveling or a device larger and heavier than you will use at home or in the office.
The 10 “tablets offer the best features. They can be connected to an external keyboard, allowing you to use the tablet as a computer.
Regarding the technical aspect, on the screen of a tablet, the resolution must be evaluated , that is, the number of pixels that are displayed on the screen of the device, the more it has, the sharper it will be. This is also influenced by the pixel density, which is measured in pixels per inch (ppi) and indicates the number of dots reproduced in each inch of the screen.
Another parameter to take into account is whether the tablet supports HDR technology that allows you to see a wider range of lights and shadows on the screen and the support of P3 technology, which increases the number of colors displayed on the display. It is worth saying that these technologies are available only in high-end tablets.
Most of the tablets on the market have an IPS LCD type display , but there are others like the Samsung brand that use Super Amoled screens . On LCD screens, they look slightly better in sunlight and reproduce colors more faithfully than Amoled ones.

Support and connection

Is it better to buy a tablet with 3g or LTE support?
It depends on your requirements, if you need to use the tablet when you leave home, you will need an always active internet connection.
As it is easy to imagine, a tablet capable of connecting to a 3g and LTE network are more expensive than those that navigate only with WiFi and are slightly heavier.
Regarding WiFi support, also keep in mind the type of technology, since this will allow you to take full advantage of the speed of data transfer from the router to the dual-band network.

The battery life

This is an important parameter because it will determine your workflow. The average duration should be 16-18 hours. A tablet that lasts 10 hours in full use is preferable.
